The number "34" in white ink appears on recto in what may be the hand of Antoin Sevruguin. This number is not visible in the reproduction of this image in "The history of photography and pioneer photographers in Iran" by Yahya Zoka. However the number "266" in white ink in a different location is visible. This latter number is not visible on the gelatin silver print in the Nelson collection, as the print has been cropped where the number is located.
