The number "171" in white ink appears on recto in what may be the hand of Antoin Sevruguin. A further number is also on rector, but cannot be determined as it has been scratched out. Both numbers in the same location are on recto of the gelatin silver print of this image located in the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery Archives in the Smithsonian Institution.
